You want to create epic effects, master the world of VR, and design your own compelling characters, bringing them to life.
At The Los Angeles Film School, you can get an animation degree either at our Hollywood campus on Sunset Boulevard or 100% online.
Let’s make it happen.
Study at our Hollywood campus, and pick a focus on either Visual Effects or Game Art. Get creating movie-quality effects with our Visual Effects option, or if games are more your vibe, learn all about creating 3D environments and characters and merging them into your very own gaming worlds.
Online
With our 100% online option you can choose to focus on either Environment & Character Design, Visual Effects, or Character Animation.
No matter which you choose, you will fully immerse yourself in the computer animation process where you’ll learn all about shading and lighting, digital painting, character rigging, and more.
Student TechKit®
You need the tech to match your creations. With the Animation degree you get it all:
MSI GE76 Raider laptop with Unreal Engine, Python, Autodesk Maya, Pixologic ZBrush and Nuke. On top of that, the entire Adobe Creative Suite, as well as a Wacom 16 Cintiq, Stealth Trooper Backpack, Gaming Mouse and Headset.

Financial Aid & Scholarships
